Chrissie Courtney became BAM  President in 2008.

She comes to the office with Committee experience that has earned her the accolade "someone who really cares about BAM," from retiring President Rob Rutter.

Chrissie is committed to expanding BAM's mission as a charity and community focus. The shape of her presidency is governed by a passion for politics and the care and concern for community it engenders: she envisages greater BAM effectiveness in the larger community through practical assistance in promoting, or helping to organise, events. Chrissie also hopes to expand BAM membership, including more families, along with greater member participation.

"In BAM, we try to appeal to all tastes and pockets, with a cross-section of events."

In pursuing her goals, Chrissie has an enviable carnet of experience to draw upon: politician, legal executive, administrator. Not to mention mother and grandmother.  In Britain, she was, in turn, a New Forest District Councillor (Chair of Leisure  Services) and a legal executive for a real estate developer. In 200l, she settled in Monaco and set up, with her son Chris, the shipping company Norstar Monaco S.A.M. of which she is Director.
