The tour will start with a talk on how the company started, how it expanded and to what it is now. After the talk, there is a planned tour of the factory. Sensible shoes are required for the tour (eg trainers) and hard hats are supplied. The whole talk/tour will take approximately 1-2 hours. Date to be confirmed. The Events Sub Committee’s sole function is to organise regular and varied events throughout the year which will appeal to all the different types and ages of membership. Apart from the official events such as the Annual General Meeting of Members and the Queen’s Birthday Party to which Monégasque VIPs are invited, we also organise large scale events such as summer balls and Burns Night celebrations. These events are well attended and entertaining as well as raising much needed funds to support the Community Support activities of the Association. Also annually, we organise a Christmas lunch.
These events are complemented throughout the year with talks from art to wine, bank cocktails, visits to gardens, our popular trip to the factory designer outlet at Serravalle, café theatre in the form of a St George’s Day celebration and many other ideas which are considered by the committee. BAM members come from all walks of life, with many and varied interests and different budgets, so we are always looking for new ideas and especially welcome ideas from members which are discussed at our regular meetings. We also take into account that there are members with children and have organised days out to include all the family, such as a treasure hunt and a beach party.
On a regular basis, a cocktail evening/Happy Hour is held the second and fourth Thursday of every month at different venues in Monaco at which members and friends have an opportunity to meet Committee members and others . Non-members who wish to know more about BAM are also welcome.
In addition, if any member wishes to start up an idea of their own (bridge groups, tennis, walks) we will make sure members are notified through the monthly Newsletter.
