Description

BAM Event - A tour of the Atelier L’Orangerie Thursday 6th April 2017. 'L’Orangerie' is the first premium, bitter orange liqueur from Monaco. It is made by Mont Charles Sarl, a Monegasque company which produces this and related high quality products from locally harvested oranges under an agreement with the Monegasque Government. Philip Culazzo, a Monaco resident of Irish and Italian descent, established Mont Charles Sarl and developed «L’Orangerie» liqueur and an eau de vie which will be produced later this year. His objective is to create products of exceptional quality in keeping with the image of Monaco and which showcase the fruits which were once the mainstay of the Monegasque economy.
Philip will present the enterprise from its inception to today’s products and allow members and guests to taste the liqueur, both naturally and as an aperitif with Prosecco. Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Cost - BAM members 15 Euro, non-members - 20 euros. See linked booking form. You will meet at the distillery, 9 rue de la Turbie, Monaco starting at 5.30 pm (Please arrive for 5.15 pm).
